Radio 4 dramas

Two Radio 4 dramas are broadcast this week.  I won’t be recording them but you may like to listen to them through the BBC listen again service.

This repulsive woman (Thursday 14th October, 2.15pm-3pm) is based on a fictitious court case which convicted a woman under the Protection of Children Act 1978.  The drama focuses on a probation officer conducting his assessment of her.

Every child matters (Friday 15th October, 2.15-3pm) has a social worker (again fictitious) questioning why she was left to take the blame after her involvement in a case where a woman was caught exhibiting her 10-year-old daughter to paedophiles over the internet.  She had suffered criticism at the hands of the tabloids.
